Odometer reflash in GTA
Hey guys, workin on a new project soon, involving speedometer/gauge cluster goodness. Since I will be getting a new cluster in, unless God DOES exist, the odometer reading will be off, I'm sure. SOOOOOO..since I'm a stickler for detail, I refuse to deal with a sticker that says "ADD 40K to this reading". I want the original milage (kilometrage?) reading on the NEW odometer. I just need someone to flash the old milage onto the new odometer, either from my ECU or from the old reading, written on a stained bar napkin. I know this can be done, I know I'm tiptoeing the thin line of legality (but not like I'm rolling BACK anyway), but my question is: Is there any person/shop in the GTA that can do this? Please reply or PM, otherwise, there will be less pimpage for TeLLy....

Either take it apart for essential parts (ie making my own Civic-to-*swapped cluster* harness), or modding it LED-style and selling to the highest bidder. This will all have to wait till I get my Hayames in of course. And the damn body work. When will this ever end?

So you're saying if I were to swap my cluster out, and put a new lower-milage one in, there would be no way to get the actual milage from the ECU? Sorry man, but I think you've got it wrong.
As for gettin the odometer reflashed with the old one's milage reading, I know it's physically possible, I've seen the equipment for sale on various websites and even ebay. I can't justify spending $2000 for it though.
