Question strut bar install

I just got a upper front and rear strut bar, my question is that can I use a socket wrench to bolt it on or do I have to use a torque wrench and tourque it to a specific ft/lb?

it's better to torque it to the spec but it's okay if you just screw it on ...

I just used a socket wrench. Make sure you tighten it good.

lol... just keep trying. They are on pretty tight, but just give a little more and it'll go.

smokedcivic has a little shameless behaviour in the past
i torqued mine on at about 15-20 ft/lb,
so not to tight, if you do it to tight you can strip the bolt and ruin the stud mounts.

Neuspeed says 33ft/lbs. So it's pretty tight. You don't want them to be loose. And to get them off, try using a hammer and socket wrench to get it loose. Takes some muscle.

If you don't torque it on properly, it will eventually come loose... Last thing you want is a strut bar in your engine compartment flopping around... Imagine the damage...
