Before I pitch my idea here's a little background.

Late last summer I ventured out to the 416 (North York) area to visit some family. As I was runnin down Sheppard I got stuck at a light in the middle of about 20 JCO members. For those who aren't familiar...J-Body Club of Ontario. I was literally caught and sandwiched between a herd of Cavaliers and Sunfires.

So, I thought....

Would it be a worthwhile idea to put together a Canada East Team... or Chapter if you will. I realize that the bulk of us are Ontario based but whatever..hehe. hmm...Can Maple Leafs and Senators fans get along in an unrelated environment...

I'm not sure exactly how many members we have in this forum but I'm guessing it's quite a few, we even have one copper (sup Narc ). Here in Ottawa we were gonna come up with something local but I thought it would be better to expand it. Guess those JCO guys just pissed me off...hehe.

Anyway, I got a poll set up with a simple Yes or No but we can discuss the idea here as well.

Ok, it looks like many people like this Idea, this is the first step to a series of ontario meets and events. Nothing extremy serious, just pure fun. so lets Move on

We in ottawa have been debating on a team name for a while now, since this is becomeing a canada east thing, lets take everyone opinion on this.

i Suggest we call our selfes "Team Se7en"

or we can join the already formed team in america "Stage seven" and open a can east chapter.

other seggestions that were shared were team new breed among other.

please share your ideas, after we figure out a name, we will come up with a team banner, either windsheild or side stickers, as u like.

yah stage 7 is from this site. I really liek the logo, and it sounds really nice and clean!!! nothing to outrageous. I also like how u dont need a "team" in front of it for it to sound good!!!

Two things that have to be understood.

1) Stage 7 is an organized group of members to which nobody has discussed this with yet.
2) Se7en is technically CarbonFly's but he allowed me to use it...Although he owns the domain name to it.

We can do whichever I guess but would you all not rather have something else of our own or what?

In looking at the off topic forum i saw something having to deal with Stage7 since i am one of the heads of this Team i felt i should answer your questions. Stage7 was started by the Tx members of this Site wanting to get something together for shows, meets, race days(for those who want to race) and install meets to help thos trying to save money and learn about their car. We started off never realizing how large we were gonna end up being but there are over 20 memebers just in the Tx branch. Not only do we have a Tx branch but several others as well. If your really interested in Joining Stage7 hit me up with a PM and ill talk to the other memebers and see what we can come up with. The choice is yours guys. Whatever you do good luck to you.

A Can-east meet would be sweet...it would be quite the head turner if we crused too. Where would we all meet up?

As for the Ottawa group name...I agree with Pharoh, we should make up something original all we gotta do is throw out some ideas!

I like the idea of both. I'll go with the flow on whatever. Is that the stage 7 actual logo on his sig? I like it if t is. But I'm sure one of us can come up with something too if we decide to go on our own, nice and clean.

dragon:thanks for lettin us know a bit of background info! Im also down with either one. A chapter of stage 7 would be really slick, cuz we could be part of a bigger team, and the logo and name are really clean!!
But im also pretty sure we could think of something that would be nice and elegante!!
