with $1000 it'll be hard...
H&R or neuspeeds go for 400 installed and Koni Yellows $1000 installed
you can look for used springs some sell for as low as $50 - $100 bucks
but the shocks will eat out your budget....
good luck

im looking for the best set up for road course/ autocrossing. I dont care if it feels like im riding in a horse and wagon.
ive thought about Eibach. Seems like a good make and has a decent reputaion. But I gotta decide soon, spring is around the corner....mmm corner...i cant wait till Shannonville!

The Neuspeed Sport and the H&R Sport springs are the exact same thing. They're just labeled differently. Get which ever ones cheaper...
I'm riding on H&R's.

i have nuespeed sports and i have no complaints i am also running them on stock shocks, i would suggest getting the konis shocks to make it a even stiffer smoother ride...
booooohahahahah
as far as i know honda has a recall on the struts for the 2k1, i hope you got them under warranty it's only covered until 60,000 or three years.

the entire city of Toronto has HUGE pot holes...
So blah...
I've been riding on Eibach springs on stock shocks for just under 1 year now or so... and I notice no problems.

Lately it's been REAL bad with REAL HUGE holes in the roads.... Not potholes, just HUGE FREAKING HOLES where asphalt used to be.... I think it's the damned weather + harsher rubber making the holes bigger and bigger... Just yesterday I ran into a hole so big, going at 40km/h my CD player skipped
yea i so know what u guys mean. on da 401 going west on the express, all the way on the passing lane there are HUGE HOLES
and going north on the 404 btw steeles and hwy 7... there are some HUGE HOLES...

for the ahyame coilovers is it cheaper to buy it here in canada or the group buys they're having right now. i know you have to pay duty and taxes but how much do you guys think the duty and taxes included. iv'e never bought anything online before. im jus wondering because seems like a good deal for full coilovers.
Yes, it's an Acura EL

IMO it's worth it to buy in a shop. You deal with a person, and the customer service will usually be better. Plus no "hidden" costs like duty and brokerage.
