Well dudes! I've just installed them both! I was in my garage in sub-zero temperatures this morning installing them... My fingers were icecubes by the time I finished! Anyhow, I finished! I took the car out for a small drive.. but not a very long one.

When the weather warms up a bit (as it should on the weekend), I plan to reposition the HGS and HVS a bit. Since this was my first time ever installing one of these things, I wasn't sure the wires were gonna be as stiff as I thought and the HVS has slightly longer wires than I thought. To sum up all my rambling I just said.. I pretty much have to re-orgainize since it looks a TAD messy right now inside there.

Moving along... what I noticed! In the short duration I've had the system in... and drove it around.. I noticed that when I started the car... it started much easier! This could have been because I started the engine recently.. the real test is tomorrow morning! When accelerating, I've also noticed that the hestitation that was previously there at some RPMs is now gone. The acceleration is much smoother than it was in the past. Also at lower RPMs.. under 1500... and above 1000... that RPM range where your engine rattles and makes this funny sound... there's more power around that area dragging it out of that RPM area. Furthermore, when you downshift and let yourself engine brake, there's less jerking as the engine braking is smoother. Also in first gear where if you were to coast at idle.. then go to 1500 then coast again to engine brake (your vehicle jerks a bit here and there as it approaches idle), there is a lot less jerking.

Welp... more to report in coming days.

For sure! Tomorrow afternoon as soon as there's more light and I move a wire or 2 around a bit to make it a bit cleaner

Update: Just went to start my car that has been sitting in the cold for a while. You know when you usually start your car after like 4 hours when it's been sitting as a block of ice outside... your engine goes.. crank crank crank VROOOOOOOM and goes up to like 2000 rpm to start? Well... I just started it... and it cranked twice and started and it started @ like 1200 rpm and moved up to 1400 rpm where it usually sits when warming up! THat's a DEFINATE improvement!

Welp...! As you know dudes... it was freezing last night.. -5 celisus.. and tonnes of snow! Anyways.. I go out this morning to start my car...

CRANK CRANK vroom! Starts up no problem! Usually you put your key in and it goes CRANK CRANK CRANK CRANK CRANK CRANK CRANK then goes VROOMMMM!

My car cranked twice and then started with no problem! Usually my engine after it cranks goes VROOM to 2000 rpm before dropping down to 1400 to warm up...
Anyways... this morning it goes vroom instead of VROOM ... starts up at like 1200 and then moves to 1400.

I've yet to see the fuel mileage this thing gives me since I've only had it for 1 day.

I've just got back from my finance exam.. now I gotta study for my next exam! 8 AM Wed!
