Narc...can you kind of explain to me the legality of in-dash motorized screens....am I allowed to have the radio portion up on the screen, or is it illegal even to have that....I am pretty sure that I can't watch movies...I dunno :|

its only illigal to have a tv facing the driver if the vehicle is in motion, and the tv is on.
As for the monitor your talking about, thats a good question. Dont know, but ill look into it for you.

Big- ok here's the deal.
Section 78(1) HTA: No person shall drive on a highway a motor vehicle that is equipped with a television receiving set, any part of which is located in the motor vehicle forward of the back of the driver seat OR that is visible to the driver while or she is operating the motor vehicle.
Section 78(2) HTA: No person shall drive on a highway a motor vehicle in which a television set, while being operated, is located in the motor vehicle forward of the back of the driver seat or is visible to the driver while he or she is operating the motor vehicle.
Bla bla bla. section (1) means cant have a tv set installed in the front area of the car period. Section (2) means cant drive with a tv set visible to the driver.
Nothing in the act makes mention of anything other than a tv set.
Spoke with my buddy Sgt. Vertolli (traffic unit), he says what you have is fine, HOWEVER if its capable of playing DVD's then your in violation of the act.
Hope this helps.
