Question honda scheduled service

i just did a scheduled oil change at honda and my next scheduled service(TYPE C) is at 32,000 km which costs about $200. the D and E services are over $300 each. are these services necessary or worth it and what are some other places i can go to that do reliable honda servicing?

I say just do the oil change every 5000km, and change other fluids in recommended intervals, and you should be fine.

if there is a problem, then get back to the dealer or other shop to get it repair...
if no problem, then relax...

I just got my Type C done too.. The reason they are all so expencive is because they check your brakes and everything like that.. Like, they said I needed to change my breaks soon and stuff. I dunno, I'm an idiot and don't mind dishing out the dough for Honda I guess..? :S

It's really up to you bro. I've done all the services and my car's almost at 80km and due for another service. If you got the money, sure why not. Even though they probably do dic* to your car. It just gives me a little more piece of mind.

Hmm... agreed, on the front passenger tire, there is a split in the tread, and the mechanic didn't notice it.

If I have my maintenance services performed by someone other than a Honda dealer, will my warranty be voided?

Not if the maintenance is performed properly. The only way your warranty may be affected is if it can be shown that misuse or improper (or lack of) maintenance caused or contributed to the malfunction.

A Honda dealer's technical training is more current than any after-market shop in town, which means a dealer knows your Honda best and is in the best position to provide proper services at the appropriate intervals.

Just remember when you get those expensive services to GET a rental, rental is free and then s'all good.... but now they are tight, they want u to fill up the gas to original, b4 they didn't so i would burn a full tank of gas for free...

LOL, you are asking and answering question on your own?

u know what, just go to the dealer and have them do oil change, and do that $150 service at 32000-35000km

there's absolutely no need to follow their schedule, nor need to use dealer service.

I'm not that stupid , that was quoted from Honda Owner Link.

Rentals? I'll be glad Honda has decent shuttle service lease: Especially they refuse alternate transportation upon a manufacturer defect for service recall

Hey.. I'm poor too

I go to Castle Honda. Great service. Great people. I brought a new born dog into the place that day and they loved it. It's like they gave me exceptional service as a result.
