i'm helping someone move and they want me to rent a truck. am i able to drive a truck with a G license? not a pickup truck but one of those moving trucks with the cube housing in the back. thanks for the replies.

most of the u-haul trucks can be operated by anyone with a regular G license, especially the ones they use for moving.

i work at national car rental.......with a G license u can drive a cube van and any of the moving trucks. if the moving trucks have bench seats ( which most dont) u have to take them out to drive it with a G license. some of the moving trucks can fit 15 people and to be driving a vehicle capable of transporting 15 people u need a bus license. sooooooooooooooooo to answer the question u can drive a cube van and if u are getting a 15 passenger Van u have to take the seats out and u will be OK......with a g license we can drive up to an 11 passenger vehicle. i hope this answers your question

ya u can cuz i am speaking from experience
i drove the 20 feet cube van with my dad to montreal to help my uncle move down to toronto
make sure the insurance have more than 1 person so each of you can take turn driving in that long 6 hrs trip
