I just bought a hood but it's at my friends warehouse, anyone who has one did how did they transport it back to their house by van or sumthing? Cuz I don't think it i'll fit in my civic, what abuot tieing it to the roof with bungees or suthing like that. Any suggestions would help alot cuz I gotta pick it up tommorow afternoon. drive up there with no hood (race car)

and put it on without the DIY hood pin installation and drive back home and install the pins..

Tada!

but watch out, prepared to be revved at with no hood

That would be cool, drive there without a hood, take out the trunk too.
I've taken out my trunk lid before and drove around, looks cool and the car is much lighter too.
