Decent MP3 decks that look good
I am looking to buy a MP3 player for my 2002 Civic Sedan. The deck I have now is really hard to read in the daylight so I want something with a really nice READABLE display. I know Pionner have the OEL displays which are nice. What else seems to work in our cars, based on your expereinces? Let me know what you have had experience with and also approx prices around the city.
Thanks
Thanks
i have a kenwood x859 deck. mp3s are very quick loading and i am very happy overall with it. it does have a glare when its sunny out but i would rather have good performance rather than being able to see the display during the day

I work @ Best Buy in toronto...
it is free install any deck over $195 right now.. goes until 9 PM tonight.
It may continue for the next flyer.. but I'm not sure yet till tomorrow.
I have the Kenwood KDC-MP919 for my car.

I gots the JVC KD-SH99. It's good-quality, easy-to-use MP3, but damn if that display is TOTALLY illegible at night. Someone warned me about it but I didn't listen. Still super nice tho.

Like I said, I am looking for decks that have a bright display. Why would I spend extra $$$ (which I do not have) for something that will give me the same problem? Any other suggestions?

i'm using a JVC-SX980 right now, the display is pretty easy to read during the day... well most of the display at least (the title of the song and time are visible in direct sunlight)...
here's a pic...
this year's model is the SX990... basically the same thing with some cosmetic and 10songskip function... cheapo 279 at futureshop jvc-sx990
