Hello Civic owners..
I am trying to upgrade my civic.. I want to get some 17" rims and lower the car to make it look nice.. but I don't know if lowering my car is the best idea.. so I was thinking of getting some Civic SI rims.. therefore.. lowering my car is not needed.. but I want you guys feedback.. I am fairly new to cars.. and would some feedback on my cars.. and suggestion on what to do is fine too..
Thinking of getting
Intake, rims, lower.. clear corners.. and lights..

hey were in VA are you from? if you're near manassas, come to the BK meet on friday night! (look for the post in this forum) we'll talk about your ride there.
otherwise, i highly recommend you lower your car, even if you get the Si rims. you'll still have the wheelgap. when lowering, you can either get springs or coilovers. i recommend coilovers, because you can actually adjust the height of the car on your own. springs they can not be raised or lowered, so if you got a sub box in the trunk, you can't get rid of the rear sagging. I went with true coilovers, but then again, not everyone has $1k to spend. if you decide on springs, get goldline ($150). coilovers, get ground control ($300). true coilovers, right now your only choices are Tein or
B+G ($1100) true coilovers are the best because they come with shocks built in, tuned to work with the new height of the car. if you get ground control coilovers and slam it, you'll blow your stock shocks in no time, and replacing them can be a pain. any other mods you wanna do, just give the northern VA crew a call, we do all kinds of installs
