hey curt, I have the TYC's. ive had them since about july, but on new years eve, one of the low beams blew on me, all i could find (although i dindnt think to look at Advance Auto, or Auto Zone, or PepBoys) were Eurolite Xenon bulbs. Dont buy them theyre Sh*t, i had one go in about 10 days. Today i installed some lights from Hella, im confident they will be good because i know hella is a big Off-Road light maker, and theyve been around for a while. its daytime so i dont know how they are at night, but i do know that with the ones TYC supplied, you could look at them when theyre on and not be totally blinded, but these, oh man, these are like lookin at two little suns. the hellas ran me about 27 bucks plus tax. BTW, the eurolites, are too blue, they dramaticly cut down on the low beam, i could hardly stand it, it was like they were aimed at the road, they cut atleast 20-50 feet of road surface illumination, and they didnt light up much else that was around either., if these go, i have a set of Sylvania's i bout at Advance Auto for 6.99 a piece, so well see how they do, if necessary.

no problem curt, anything to help, i dont think its the wiring though, its a common thing, the glass lens on the low beam traps a lot of heat compared to the projector high beam with is of a more conventional design.
renegade, would you want to buy mine im sellin them, so if youre interrested make an offer, theyre about 6 months old and there is nothing wrong with them, ill even include all extra bulbs i have.

curt, well, its a DC TCS, it has maybe 15000 miles on it. I love the sound of it, it is 100% what i was looking for when i bought it. Its nice and deep and mellow at idle, sometimes you cant even tell its there(like when sitting in traffic at a red light). Once above idle, it starts to get louder but stays deep till around 3000 rpm, then it gets a little louder till about 4 or 5000 rpm, after that, pretty much all you hear from inside is the engine. Im not sure about on the outside of the car though. I have heard it from the outside once. It went to about 1500-2000 rpm, im guessing. It had the familiar Honda sound, but wasnt too ricey as the B series motors tend to sound. If youre interrested, ill leave it on and take you for a test drive in it, If you like what you hear, ill help you install it. As with most, if not all, other exhausts available for our cars, i felt literally no performance increase, but the main reason i bought it anyway it because i missed the sound of an exhaust on a car.
Im asking $400(origionally paid about $650)

Hi EternalVTEC... do you have a "members' rides" page which includes info of the mods done with ur car and pics of ur ride? I'm a beginner at this stuff. My ride is 2001 Coupe EX. By the way, do you happen to have instructions on how to replace the stock rear bumper of 01 Civics? I have a big crater
in the rear left-side where it curves and want it fix. What do you think is the easiest way to get rid of it? Can it be heated even though its plexiglass?
Thanks.
Thomas

theres the link, as far as the bumper, its not plexiglass, but thats ok, its actually urethane i believe. although ive never done it, im sure its not too hard to get the rear bumper off. you can probably push on the dent in the bumper with your hand to see if itll come out, its getting dark so i cant get a good look at my trunk area, so ill look at it as soon as i can and let you know, i promise, but it may only be friday cause i have to work long hours the next couple days, sorry, but after i look at it, ill post it in here, so keep your eye on this thread.
