VA inspection requirements

I'm due for inspection next month and need to know what I need to do to my car to prepare it. I know I need an amber turnsignal and reflector in the front, no hyper white lights.. my concern is ride height. my car is dropped about 2.5", only 3" off the ground at it's lowest point. is there a law in VA regarding ride height?

Just rise up your car a little and put orange bulbs in the front. You should pass no problem. Since you don't even change your exhuast(illegal in Northern VA). You already have orange look like reflector in the front.

There is a shop in Charlottesville that just look at car and allow to pass inspection. Which is cool but the shop always run out of inspection sticker(wonder why huh? haha) and the wait time is like 2-3 weeks. You may consider take it to some old looking car shop. They will let you pass easy. At least in here.

The VA state code for Vehicle height is 14" from ground to bumper or frame with modified bumper. since you have coilovers, Raise that bad boy back too 0". They are tough.

here is the state code for motor vehicle equipment safety for VA
