yeah, this meet was an awesome first meet for me. so many awesome cars, and so many cool ppl. it was nice to finally meet some of you guys from the site. the only way it could have been any better is if i had been smart and put on sunscreen so i didnt get a damn sunburn oh well...it was still awesome!

also, many thanks to Rob, Vizyun & Klassy1, SimplySLB, and Mex for organizing this meet, and making it possible, and everyone else for making it go over so well. i certainly hope we can do another one before too long

EDIT: i just posted all the good pics i got from the meet (sorry i didnt get pics of everyone's cars), you can find them here My Yahoo! Photo Album

Congrats on a good meeting.
I only see the same 14 car pictures taked form different angles and not all of them are 7thgencivics.
You claimed to have 24 7th gencivics.
I don't even see 24 adults in any picture.
Is this a meet or a show?
Any throphies given?

Trust us, they were there. Most of the "adults" were probably under the pavilion enjoying the excellent food layout and trying to stay cool.(while some of us were stupid and were installing a tach in a black civic..hehe) It was definitely a good meet. No it wasn't a show nor were there trophies...we were just kickin it, havin a good ol' time.

There are two rows of cars because of the layout of the parking lot. I know you don't want to be outdone supermex, but trust us there was 24 7thgens there and about 30 cars all together!!! If you look at Slikor's pics you can see everyone eating and stuff. SimplySLB took attendence so you can ask her who was actually there. A bunch of people didn't show up (you all know you are!!!) so hopefully next year we will have more!!!!!! I will start planning earlier next year!!

Well, I just got home and I am about to upload my pictures and look through everyone else's. I tried to take pictures of every 7thgen that was there...according to the attendance sheet (lol). I think I am only missing ONE...the guy who came really late, and HE actually made the 25th 7thgen there.

It definietly was an awesome meet, even if it was pretty HOT! Glad to see everyone had fun. I guess we should start planning the next one huh?

Here's the link to my pictures! I tried to get a picture of everyone's car. If i don't have yours or I mislabeled....(I tried to take good attendance, I swear!) let me know, I'll fix them!

Wow! All the pics look great. Sorry I couldn't make it.
My boyfriend got las minute notice on friday that he had to work, so I got someone to go with me Saturday morning, but then my internet wasn't working & I couldn't get directions, and it was all last minute planning anyway.

I'm definitely looking forward to the next meet though.

Whew! That cook in your pics sure looks HOT, Steph (temperature-wise, anyway ). Man, was it SMOKING out there! Great turnout though, and a great meet overall. We had LOTZ of fun. Sorry to everyone who missed it. We'll have to start planning for next spring/fall/year/whatever!! In fact, Klassy1 and I were just speaking to a gentleman yesterday about professional photography at the next meet! Portfolio, anyone?

The meet was great! I had so much fun. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and getting to talk to other members of the site. 7th Gens rule! To the naysayers... there were 25 7th Gens there. Don't forget Ed who showed up late! He's number 25. Anyway, thank you to the planners and thank you to the participants.

Yeah, we all gotta give it up to Ed, who was kind enough to provide some comic relief in the heat. (I won't put him out there and say what happened, but let's just say that Ed's ride is DEFINITELY not lowered . . . if you were there, you know what I'm talking about). Phat shout outs to Ed, aka Untitled, for showing up just in time!
