Oooopppsss!, I hit the wrong key!

I have a silver coupe with stock suspension and was thinking of getting 17 inch Konig Blatant or Verdicts in Black Opal with 205/45-17 tires

My question now is, with the kind of road we have in NYC, will it rub against the body of the car? And what kind of ride quality should I expect from having a plus 2 in wheel size.

Thank you

I have 40 series tires and I feel everything. I've already memorized all the major potholes on my route from my home in LI to my gf's apt in Manhattan. It gives me a lot of stress on that alone. Not including the fact that I have to leave it on the street which gives me more stress.

I have 17 inch Maxxim Tequilas and a stock suspension. My rims are wrapped in 205/45/17 inch Z rated Falken tires. I have no problem with rubbing, and my tires handle the pot holes pretty well....so far no problem. They have been on the car for 8 months or so. When you get bigger rims and low profile tires, you have to change your driving style a litle, by watching the road more for holes and stuff.

Hoy Eman!

I see you got those black opals already. How are you liking it? Do you regret getting them and want silver instead?

You, Alex1 and all Queens people should go to Nathan's on Wednesday nights at least once to be seen and recognized. Who knows, we might have been driving by each other without knowing who's who.

It's on Long Beach Rd. in Oceanside. It's not a long drive from Queens so see you guys there.
