Rep Power: 583 im not coordinating anything. if you want to organize a room so youre rooming with someone specific or whatever, do it on your own. i will not be making reservations for any other room besides the one im in (sorry...i dont want to get stuck with a bill for everyone in case people bail). i will call the hotel and see if they will give us a group discount, and then ill post up what you need to tell them to get that discount.
ill also ask if they have connecting rooms, or at least rooms next to eachother that we can book even if they dont give us a discount.
so, as far as ive heard, dawn, diana, jennn and i are in one room.
everyone else has to my knowledge not set up their rooming situation. lol

Rep Power: 583 ok people...i was looking at some hotel prices online last night, and it occured to me that hotels are getting pretty booked up over there. so if you all want a room in AC downtown, better get crackin'.
the other thought i had is do we want to stay in AC, like by the boardwalk or near it (the hotels are gonna be at least 250/night per room)...or do we want to get something a little farther away for much less? the main deciding factor is what people want to do at night. im sure there are cabs going from AC, but i dont know for sure. i also dont know the area real well, so i dont know if there are things to do outside of AC.

but either way, people need to start booking their rooms if they want to stay the night in AC (or in the area).

Rep Power: 513 ^^yeah me too. The hotel I stayed at before wasn't right on the boardwalk, you still had to walk a little to get there. I wouldn't mind staying further away and taking a cab...chances are i'll be drunk when we go back to the hotel so it's probably better than stumbling down the street anyways

Rep Power: 583 these are the more decent deals that i found from a quick search...if you maps.google them you can see that theyre not too far away from AC.
edit: orbitz search link didnt work....but if you search on orbitz for atlantic city, july 22 - july 23rd you will see the rest of the results.
the comfort inn west bayside doesnt seem like bad deal, considering it has a pool and free breakfast.

Rep Power: 583 the hotel has been chosen. we are staying at the comfort inn west bayside. i reserved a room for my roommates and me and for the canadians. i went through travelocity, they have the best prices apparently.
details in the attendee list. if you are planning on staying sat. night at a hotel, RESERVE ASAP! the price of the hotel jumped up from 169 to 209 by the end of the day on orbitz (thats where the screen captures are from). rooms are going FAST!!!
