From Montreal To New York This Weekend

I'm coming to NY over this weekend and was wondering if somebody could recommend me any good places to stay overnight. I could take hotel, make a party lol, but my budget for hotels is max. $80-$90. Or I might go with motel coz it's cheaper.

I'm not taking my civic so i might need a rented car over the weekend. What are the prices there?

Thanks for help.

First!!!!
NY or NYC
If its NYC I got a box on like 7th and 45th that you can get for 75 a night!
Seriously I can not think of a place to stay in NYC for less than 100.

i agree with you pon....any *decent* hotel in the city will run you more than $200. otherwise ure best bet is a motel outside the city.

if u have enough time (around 4 or 5 days before u visit) - try to priceline a room at a hotel. on 2 occassions ive been able to get a room at the marriot and hilton in manhattan for $100 (130 after taxes and all)

HAHAHA this is a funny ****in thread. New york city hotel for less than 100 a night?
Maybe in 1955.
Christmas weekend? Try 300, probably more.
265 was as good as I could find in the city for 2 weekends ago, I ended up not going because it was so nuts.
You'll be 30 miles from manhattan before you find something that cheap.
Try the airport hotels. Although I doubt you'll find ANYTHING this weekend.

Just came back from New York. I managed to get a room at Milford Plaza hotel for $120/day on 45th street and 7 avenue. The hotel is OK, room service is OK. I liked the times square lots of lights at night. The weather is good (better then Montreal) but I have to say your strip clubs sucks! compare to our Montreal strip clubs, NY should learn a lot. Besides everything else I find it very dirty there and Brooklyn is like a ghetto. Oh and the metro is so bad that I rented a car. But for the first time it's all good. Second time I'll be more familiar.
