Traffic light blinked on Madison Ave - Manhattan (NYC)

I was driving back from the city today and at one intersection (somewhere between 80th and 90th and Madison Avenue), the traffic light blinked. I'm pretty sure it was a "running-red-light" blink but I was out of the way by the time the light turned red.

Does this mean I should expect a ticket in the mail? My car is registered in KY (registration plates required on the back only) - did they get me? Where does the ticket go? Is it worth fighting the ticket?

Moderators: Please move this thread in the appropriate forum - I wasnt sure where to post it.

So does that mean i should just ignore it? And the ticket will go the address underwhich the registration is, which is in KY - correct?

well if they run you license the "RED LIGHT PROJECT" which s what its caleld when you get the letter in the mail. Will have the picture of your car and you running the light. It Will go to KY cause your license plate has your address info. So you will get one. I waited like 2 months one time and i got one thinking i got away....but no scott...how about no. They will eventually get to it : 50 bucks....

Sometimes these cameras cant get a good shot of ur plate, especially at night. I once ran red light and it took a shot of the plates, but I never got the notice from them. It's been over 6 months.
