7thgeners at OC carshow
7thgeners i saw at the ocean city car show. i know that dawns and civic kyd's car was there (nice meetin you both) but any of the other ones are you guys/girls here??

wow, i'm kinda late for this... but yea it was fun show or should i say decent show till the award? ok... first of all.. how did you get in mild class robo..?? and for indoor... wow... i dont think i'm even gonna go there... all i can say is BS.
i'm not mad cuz i didnt win, but i'm mad for others who had hotter/nicer car than people who won. judges werent lookin at what they are suppose to be looking at. i'm like what the hell..? sometimes they just walked right pass few cars and just putting numbers on the score sheet...
like that orange eclipse... he won da best of show?? NO way... there was better cars than that... i dont know, show itself was great, met alot of people but award just ruined it.
i wasnt there but my friends were telling me that awards were pretty much BS. and 90% of people up stairs were pissed...
i dont think i'm going to this show again.

Rep Power: 281 wild class consists of air ride suspension or molded body pieces, 2 things which i do not have nor plan to have because that would put me in wild and i would get owned at every show. i prefer to be at the top end of mild..lol.

I was there...I didn't think the show was that good. The only thing that really impressed me was the mustang with like 40 tvs. But at least all the cars were nice and clean. Nice job on all the 7thgen that were there.

Rep Power: 316 The mild class consists of cars without conversions, or at least that's what I think. There may be cars that were better, but did they hit all the categories? A friend of mine has a really really nice civic, that wins real awards and he told me how he HADDDD to put stickers on his car in order to win. Decals are a category you are judged upon and if you don't have any stickers on your car you get a 0 for that score.
Judges also look at how clean a car is. I've read before that you can win awards with just an overall physically clean car, rust and dirt free, lowered and rims.
A perfect example of this is Carbon Fly's ride. I don't think it is all that great in pictures, but take a look at all his trophies. He's won best of show before with I believe rims, drop, tints, and a grill maybe? Nothing impressive, but I'm sure in person it was clean.
You don't have to have crazy body kits to win awards, bottom line.
