Rep Power: 0 Now THAT'S what I call bling. I've always pondered that idea, but never really put too much thought into it... For a proper chroming job, the parts have to be completely submerged in a copper bath to rid contaminants, as well as a series of other prepping baths, then finally to the chrome tank (which ironically, consists of clear liquid). I don't see how they did this properly unless the chassis itself was submerged into a bath, (in which case would involve extremely involved labor--stripping the chassis completely) or using a spray gun (which i doubt is possible for a decent job)
