anyone please help me . i just got a ticket for my tints and i'm looking for another white 01 civic with no tints. i need to take some pictures of it to fight in court. i really don't feel like removing my tints. I'll give you some $$$ for ur trouble if u help me out. thanx. Any advice from ya'll gladly accepted. Location is Bronx, NY.

On Long Island they dont need to see the car. Just a pic or reciept saying you got the tins off is good enough. Do you have any old pics of your car with out tints. If so use those.

i asked the precint the question and the cop said just bring a pic of the car with the window down and show the plates of the car and bring that to court. i asked if they needed to see the car and they were like...how the hell u gonna bring the car to court with you!!! kind of felt dumb... i don't have pics of my car w/o tints

Just go down to the honda dealership, and go err...can I take a picture of your car? Then go home and photoshop your license plates in. Photoshop can be a wonderful tool....

And if the dealership ask why do you want pics? Be like OH I'm in the market for cars, and I think that pictures online from honda websites are too professional you don't get a real feel for the car. So I'm going around taking pictures of the cars I want and comparing them at home and making a final decision. Something like that.

yes, it is easy as that. I just got an exhaust ticket and am planning on doing the same thing, only I really did take off my exhaust. a friend of a friend took pictures of a stock car and got out of the ticket in court. He won, but 2 years later he gets pulled over by the same cop, and he goes "You're not getting out of it this time."

i paying for no damn ticket. this @$$hole cop gave me 2 of them...one for my side of the window and the other for the passenger!!! they are both $90 bucks!!! thats to show you cops have quota's to fill. this stupid cop took advantage of the situation.I spend the whole day hanging out around malls to see if i find another white coupe and do u believe no one in the freaking bronx has a white coupe. i had no choice but remove the 2 front tints. I'm going to fight the tickets saying i removed them. also, i have a side question...lets say i get caught again with dark tints, cuz i want to retint them, could i fight the ticket again saying i took the tints off or will they not dismiss the ticket cuz it's the second time???i figure as long i take the tints off over and over, they won't say nothing and dismiss the ticket. i bet you guys must be like "but what the point in spending all that money in retinting?" the trick is...i won't be cuz i'll just show them the old picture pics of the car w/o the tints and i'll just ask my boy for a reciept from his shop saying i paid him to take them off. what ya'll think

Well if you go to court the judge will most likely make you just pay $90 for both tickets if you just plead guilty. But you could just go to the dealership before someone sees you taking pictures of their car then tries to attack you.

its not the same crime... the driver side window has to be a certain %, the pass side has to be a different % and the rears have a different %. if the cop is a ****, which this one was, he could nail you for having 2 dark of tints on every window. im almost positive the driver cant be lower than 36%, the pass cant be lower than like 32% and the rears cant be lower than 25% or something along those lines...

so say you got 20% all around, like my car, i get pulled over, i broke 3 laws.
