Why would you want one? They are for towing stuff! Even then you don't need them unless your going slow.

If your transmission fluid is to cool, it isn't viscous enough in your transmission, which means your transmission has to work in oil that is to think for it. This causes excessive ware on it.

Boost on an auto tranny you might want to, depends on how you hard you run your car. If it was me who constanly has my foot on the floor and I don't drive much highway, then maybe. Best thing to do is keep an eye on your tranny fluid, check it at every gas fill up, if it ever becomes yellow or brownish (not the nice pink/red color) you probably over heated your tranny and could use a cooler.

Running a cooler is fine! Only winters are a problem. You should disconect or by-pass it in cold weather.

Tranny cooler will NOT work on a manual!
Go to a slightly heavier lube!

the only reason why it cant work is because it doesnt have a pump like auto tranny but i cna install a pump but so far i cant find the pumps for less than $150

Pumping atf is very diff from gearlube!
Find some "real" roundy-round heads that know like nascar!
The other option is go to Redline or some other oil company and ask help!

Have you considered having a tranny built for that power/heat?

why are you guys saying this is bad during winter? Do you know how little fluid actually goes to the cooler...it isn't much. I almost think it doesn't help at all. But mine made it through -10 degree winters just fine. You can feel it shifts cold but once the engine warms up everything is fine. Compared to the whole pool of fluid, that small amount that gets cooled doesn't do much.
