I had mentioned this once before... but is anyone interested in a meet down in good ole AC? I live about 150 yards from the beach, as well as a decent grill for a BBQ. My idea would be beach from like 1 or 2, BBQ at 3, then cruise around and do a photoshoot. If this sounds interesting, lemme know - I would be planning on the weekend after the 4th of July.

it's so hard keeping the pack together (especially on the road), it'll be crazy worse when EVERYONE's "down the shore".

ok cool.... I however only have sundays off... the only times im available to host a meet is: Tuesday, Saturday after 5PM, Sunday.

We can figure it out as it gets closer, but anyone have any suggestions for things to do? I would put emphasis on the beach being its less than 1 block away. Parking at my house is going to be scattered.... but there are plenty of areas to drive to and park for pictures.

I want to have this meet pretty much set in stone before June 18th - as I am going out of the country until July 2nd.

bbq at the beach sounds like the plan! we should keep it short cause some people tan/burn easier than others . then ride for pictures and who ever wants to stay to gamble can go off to the casinos. 18 to step on the slots floor I think it was at the TajMahal. Show us around lol

sounds fun but i'd kinda like it on a Saturday as well since i live down in VA but i wouldnt mind the trip to hang out with sover my buddy o pal :-P

lol my car sucks so bad compared to yours... I can't believe a Civic can actually accerlerate like that. Damn automatic transmission!!!!!

Yea... I mean later on is good too... I just don't get back into the country until July 4th. The day of the week is still up in the air - either Sat or Sun. If it happened on a Sat:

5:30 beach
6:30/7:00 BBQ
8:30/9:00 driving/photos
?? Casinos

If it happened on a Sun:

2:30 beach
4:30/5:00 BBQ
6:30/7:00 driving/photos
?? Casinos

The hours are longer on Sun as I stated before I work until 5PM on Saturday. Sunday would definitely be the better day for me to host this. Reply with a response to the tenative schedule and make some suggestions.

i am leaving for Europe tomorrow.... i will be returning the 4th of July. please, everyone that plans to attend post here - the day will have to be a sunday. thats the only day i can host a meet. post any ideas an/or possible days in august... when i get back ill make sense of it and set a concrete day based on what gets posted.

did anything ever get off the ground for the AC area? because if it didn't, Little Egg Harbor Twp. just opened or is about to open a large new park right off GSP @ 58 - more parking than you could ask for and lots of open space...bout 30 min north of AC, wait til later in the season and convoy down to the casinos - anyone plus me local to that could help pulling host duties

I would go on the 17th, but I'm National Guard and that's my weekend. And like Logic, working weekends on the shore is a real bitch...I still think later in the season is the way to go, like after Labor Day - weather still nice but far less crowded
