instal meet or help installing?
is anyone plannin on doin an instal meet anytime soon cause i have shift bushings i need to put in but i know if i do it myself i'll screw it up lol, if i try to take the passenger seat out along with the whole center console thingy i'll mess somethin up and i know some friends who have parts that probably wont be able to put them in alone too, so if anyone wants to start up a instal meet or if anyone just wants to help me put in my bushings lemme know!

if i remember correctly, the DC adapter can only be used with the first(older) version of the Revo SS for our car. the one you get will most likely be the new style. why do you want the Revo? shorter shift lever, or shorter throw, if its just a shorter throw, then you dont need the Revo, dont waste your money. if you want a shorter(height) shifter, as in, deeper in the boot, then you want the Revo.

What are you guys talking about? The Revo changes the angle of the cable shifter and it shortens the rod. Overall it a short throw. The DC sports short shift adaptor just changes the angle of the cable shift. Why would you want the revo + DC? That makes no sense. It is a 20 min job, 30 min at most to swap the old shifter for the revo. It is a 10 min job just for the DC adaptor.

i agree with you rob, but i thought that on the first version of the Revo you can use both, which is why they revised it...
either way, i know you have one, and i liked the feel of it, and you would know better than me, i just thought i heard that somewhere, i do know that there was a post about it

well, it depends. to some, ours is too high, to others, they may feel that its more cost effective to pay ~ the same $ as for the adapter while gettin shorter throws and a shorter stick at the same time. its just a matter of taste

The bushings won't do much for an adaptor. The bushings are made for the Revo/OBX because it has a tendency to move around. The bushings really provide much help for an adaptor. Are we talking about a short shifter or do you need someone's help in the area? This topic has gotten off topic.
