OOOPS! Parked car got in my way!
2 weeks ago my best friend backed my car up into another car at Starbucks, I ordered a new bumper and its going to be installed this week and my car was going to look perfect.......untill I was parallel parking on sunday night and hit a parked car!!!! The whole passengers side of my car is messed up!!!!! OOOPS!!!

Rep Power: 435 I've seen girls trying to parallel park in front of starbucks. They're in such a rush that they just back up until they hit something, then move their car up until they hit something else, then back up, move up, etc etc, until they're satisfied.

during my road test, I completed a good parallel park but then the instructor guy gave me a lookthat gave me goosebumps. so i did it a second time and got about 4 inches from the curb. only problem i had with the test

Rep Power: 435 in VA it's not required to know how to parallel park. I think it's because we don't have any places to parallel park...ya know?

Our license tests are waaaaaaaay too easy. They give away licenses to people.
And whats with this whole lets let 16 year old kids drive 200+HP cars. OK maybe one or two out of a thosand can drive it responsibly. But hell...most adults I know shouldn't be in cars with that much power..let alone someone at the beginning of thier driving career. And please no "I've been driving since I was xx years old and I can handle a 200+hp car". Because...1. you probably can't but only THINK you can. 2. You might be one of those two out of a thousand.
90% of people think they are above average drivers . They also say 90% of other drivers are below average drivers.
Anyone see a discrepancy here?
I can "handle" a 1000 hp car. But that doesn't mean I can drive it to it's full potential. Unless you have some training or autox experience...I would venture to say your one of the ones who think they can handle it.

pushing your car too its limits or in your words "full potential" without knocking cones does not mean your any better than the kids who street race.
It's more like "controlled reckless driving".
