Good Place To Get Oil Change For Lowered Car? (nova)
Okay, i atempted to change my oil today, but I couldn't get enough leverage to get the oil drain bolt off. I've tried for like an hour, and give up.
Anyone know any places in Northern VA that can do an oil change for a car with 3 inch clearance off the ground? I've been to like 4 Jiffy Lubes and 2 goodyears and all that and none of them can do it.

What do you say we make a mini meet for the oil changes? I need to do my Koni's this weekend as well. Are you guys down for that? Vinh, is your garage available? Let's all get our hands dirty this weekend.

Rep Power: 318 i always do my oil changes around 1am in a parking lot with sufficient lighting.. lol. it'd be nice to have a DIY oil change day. i need to put synthetic in my car too. doesn't anyone else have a garage though? why does it always have to be vinh

Rep Power: 348 I live in an apt. building so that makes it very hard. Plus, I only have a limited amount of tools. Normally I'll go to the Auto Skills Center on base and use their tools and lifts but you guys can't come on base with me.

Well I got a job, but I have another interview on Saturday at 2, where I will have to demand more money I guess. Afterwards I'm free though. Anyone still wanna oil change? I'm 1,500 miles over right now.

Rep Power: 0 Well i agree with him, if you work on cars i would think about buying some nice tools before buying a nice 3" drop. Unless you have everything done for you, and then when someone sees your car, and they like something, you don't have the option to be like, yeah " I " did that. Most people lie.
