How long is the warnaty on the 2001 civic 36,000 miles or 40,000 miles I hae heard both please let me know. I sure hope its not 36,000 cause I need to take it to the dealership and I have 35,890. So need to know soon please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

the exact from the dealer is 3 Years - 36,000 miles and whatever you hit first ends your warranty..

but like tristan said, i got 10 years, 100,000 miles..

if i remember correctly, mine was about 700+ for extended warranty..

nothing has gone wrong, and hopefully nothing will, but im glad to have that extension..

i got the 7yr/75k mile warranty too... which is a good investment since that the new civics have many problems with them than earlier gens... that sucks

Mine is 7.5 inches..... oh wait this thread is about warranties! Mine is 100,000. The one it comes with is 36k or 3 yrs. Does that cover brakes too, because mine squeek already at 18k.

haha Tim3- yes, warrenties! Anyway, my brakes squeaked at 7k miles and they replaced them with a glare and a "uh, we're only going to do this because we figure you live in an area where there is stop and go traffic." (aka, they realized I drove car harder than most and they didn't want to replace pads every few k miles for me) so next time, imma send my grandma in with my car, see what they say. a grandma doesn't drive a car hard, right? we'll see 0 =)

Then I'll have to send in my mom with the car and see what they say. Brake pads aren't that much anyways but I'm saving up for rims so every little bit helps.
