coupe vs. sedan?
the only thing i have aginst my 4door is that it looks a bit boxy, other then that i love it, i love the room, the pracricality everything.
anyways, that day at the ottawa meet, i took a 90 degree turn at like 80 km/h, the back end just slipped into position, it was almost as if i had the handbreak on, and i felt that it was going to flip, so i duunno about stock suspension performance.

A cars tendency to oversteer increaces as speed through the corner increaces. i.e. the faster you are going the more likly the tail end will slid through a corner. and it is virtually impossible to roll a car (SUV's and large pickups excluded) unless you slide in to something like a curb or dirt. the tires will let go and slide long before the car even thinks of tiping over. You'r probably just not use to how our cars handle a speed. If you want to take turns like that with confidence and consistancy I suggest some form of formal race training or possibly autocross. The streets not a good place to learn the limits of your car.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as handling goes, stock vs. stock of course, I believe the coupe has a rear antiroll bar, and the sedan doesn't, at least in EX form. Not that the stock rollbar is very large, but it's better than nothing. Also, on the '03s, the EX coupe have the SI wheels, while the EX sedans have the steelies and wheel covers, which I think weigh more than the SI wheels. Of course, all of this goes out the window when you start doing suspension/tire/wheel mods. To me, get the 4 door if you routinely carry more than 2 passengers with you, and get the coupe if you usually ride alone or with your "significant other" only. That's why I bought a coupe, I seldom carry more than 1 passenger with me.
Many of you make good points. I prefer the Coupe simply because I like the look of it. I don't like nor can I stand most sedans. Most of the sedans that I do like are designed so fluently that at first glance, you wouldn't even know that it is a sedan. I like that! My preference, my opinion.
I solved that problem in the very beginning:
1. If I have more than one passenger, the one sitting in the front passenger seat moves ***, not me.
2. I don't have passengers. If I wanted to carry people with me, I would have bought a SUV or a bus. All I car about is me and my girfriend.

No, it deals with all cars. RWD cars will do it sooner, but FWD cars will also slid the rear at high speed. at low speeds the things Plow like pigs, but once you pic up some speed and are on a long sweeper, you can get the *** to rotate. You learn alot when you autocross. I know I have.

only the ex's have the stock anti sway bars in front and back, and yes they are the same size between the sedan and coupe, yes they are, at times, inadequate but they do the job for the daily driver

The sedans (02 and up) have front and rear anti-roll bars. Dude, it all depends on your preference. Some are mentioning 1/4 mile times, some mention looks and bling bling stuff, but get it b/c sedan has more space and more practicality. Oh yeah, Sedan, more JDM baby, but just disregard that.
I have an EX coupe. the three major reason why I do not like the sedans is:
1. That chrome strip that goes across the hood
2. The tailights. I hate how they are positioned all the way to the top of the trunk
3. Last, and probably the least, I dont like the stip that goes down the doors for dent protection, I think.
the coupe doesnt have any of these....so thats what I went for

Tell that to him
or him
or Him
Obviously you've never autocrossed.
Autocross is a sport designed for people who have found that corners are a whole hell of alot more fun the driving in a straight line.

And to be momentarily completely off topic I have a response to, "because rice does not grow in the US..." Yes it does. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations rice grows in Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, and Texas. It's been produced in the states for export as early as the original British colonies.

at night they look like horse shoes lit up!
The tail lights can be modified to look not like a horseshoe. I still think the Sedan is too "boxy", much like a Jetta but lacking the power.
Crowly, LA is the Rice Capital of America and hold the annual Rice Festival which is awesome. There isn't much difference from oriental rice that you get at a store and the rice produced in the U.S.

My sedan is the best thing I've ever gotten. More people can get into my car comfortably and I have easier access to the back seat when I need to get something out of it. Yes the roofline is higher, but tint the windows and it seems to lower.

i have a coupe- and never regretted it... looks more sportier. the sedan looks like an elementary school teacher's anniversary present or something.... in other words, sedans look like a family car, where as coupes look like the kinda car that would be "fixed" up... my opinion
Its a celebration bitches!
