Rumors of Exterior Changes for 2004
Rumors of Exterior Changes for 2004
I am hearing vague rumors of exterior changes for the 2004 civic.
Here's what I found so far...
"Civic Collection, featuring upgraded styling and upgraded amenties in the Civic sedan, Civic coupe, Civic Si, and Civic Hybrid."
here's the link to the source of the info...

If anyone has more info, let's use this thread to start a compilation.

honda isnt doing a MAJOR redesign for 2004, if anything they are going to refresh the design, just like the 98-00 accords are different from the 01-02, they are essentially the same car but with minor enhancements here and there, and just like the previous gen civic there were two different versions of the 6thgen, so i think its going to be a subtle change if anything, cant wait to see it!

Actually, from what I have read, and I WISH I could find it now, the 8th gen Civic will not be out until 2005 as an '06 model. This would mean a 5 year time frame for the 7th gen, which is pretty standard. The 6th gen Accord had a 5 year run from '98-'02. I hope it isn't changed until then, because that way, my '03 that I just bought 5 days ago will still seem new until 2005.

This is just speculation but, I think they may get some trickle down effect. More specifically, some of the styling cues from the newest Accord may make their way down to the Civic.

whoever said it was 220 hp for the CTR, i think it's actually more around 200 hp. at least, that's what they've been and that's what i read in motor trend. it's the ITR that has a 220 k20.
