Top speed fastest I have hit is 132, still haven't taken it faster, will though. My top in 3rd is 84-85, i think I need to check though.

A year ago . . . . hit 133 (according to speed, so who knows) while still rolling stock tire size.

Could have gone faster, but was running out of safe space.

top i gone is 135, in third top is 100 in a 7th gen civic but at that speed 130+ car aint that stable. i drove cars over 130 with better handling

i know ive got 100+ in 4th, but it takes forever so i have only done it a couple of times, usually i just shift

ok for the ppl who don't know what the autobahn is..it means no speed limit...2nd i think we've answered the question that the car is power and drag limited not rev limited..so 140 is possible speedometer wise..maybe he wasn't exactly 140 but its probably somewhere around there

So, what you're saying is, even if the engine is allowed to rev higher . . . it won't go faster? I mean, if the RPMs are allowed to top-out higher, and the tranny is engaged. . . what happens?

I know for a fact that 4th goes even above 112. I think it goes closer to 120.

I think you have it backwards... I have 17's with 205/40's and with the tire calc it says my speedometer is 4% too FAST meansing if I am going 60 I am actually going LESS, not MORE like you said.....

Hondata works for the 2002+ civic si. It changes your redline to 7700, so if your going 84-86 red line in 3rd, you will go faster if your rev limit is at 7700, my rev limit on the si is 7200.
