Well if I couldn't get a McLauren F1 I guess I could settle for Vin Diesel's RX-7 from F&F. I just like it's design, rice or not.

Yes there is a street legal car that can touch that and smack it upside the head on the way by. There's a street legal IROC here in Ottawa that ran 8.1 with a small block 350 and oh ya', NO NOS! Track officials made him put a wheelie bar on it if he wanted to race it. I saw this car nearly put it's nose onto the trunk of a Vette last summer at a traffic light...lol. It won King of the Street 5 years in a row and the only car that beat it was DQ'd because it WASN'T street legal. The damn thing dies when you let off the gas and won't idle. Nino pulled up with all his lights working and 'I drive my car to work' in shoe pollish on the rear windsheild...lol. NINO's car is KING!

there is no car that you can purchase, and have an off the shelf kit installed on it to make it as fast as the lingenfelter vette.

I saw the gumball 3000 dvd - a friend loaned it to me. Dayum that looks hella fun. I wanna do it when I can afford the $15K entry fee or whatever it is.

Having 800+ HP would be nice too though ...
