even if it is a Focus. It's close to 500hp and 500lb/ft. I'd like to see one run on the strip though. Sounds a little interesting to get it moving in a straight line.

Rep Power: 318 Yea I saw one of those at the track once, there was a small show to th side & the guys brought one out there. But what ive always been wondering is why do that to a focus, could they find an uglier car to make insanely fast? Maybee thats part of it, they thought it would be funny to see a focus go really fast, in the same way that it would be funny to see a pinto or yugo run 7s(which I have also seen & yea it was really funny).

I heard about that yesterday from a friend and a SVT in a focus is crazy.
Never liked the focus but I like that "SVT Focus". But nearly 70,000 bucks you can count me out. I'll stick with civics and cheaper engine swaps... when I get a car that is

Rep Power: 0 thats retarded... why would you do that? Just get a cobra, you would look a whole lot less lame... and a lot less stupid for not spending as much money. Originally for a shity focus that can run a 11 in a straight line? Screw that, I am getting a 250cc motorcycle that can run 0-60 in 5.5 seconds and get 75mpg for 2000 dollars.... cant beat the price/performance/style/gas milage and I have my civic for bad weather.

Rep Power: 0 I'd have to say that that Focus is insane. I just couldn't spend that money on it. I would also take the new SVT Cobra over that Focus just because of the style, I like the new body style more than the older one.
Man, that is just insane though. Now someone needs to put in a Skyline engine or a Wankel in a Civic to take on that Focus

Rep Power: 0 again we go over price, go buy the cobra and then put the left over $35,000 into the cobra and you will have something that will kick most cars butt and it iwll look better and handle better and sound better than that focus
