Top Secret Cadillac Road Test?

Today while going west on a stretch of I-70 about 40 miles east of Columbus, OH... I came upon a convoy of black vehicles. The two rear vehicles were strange looking to me. The were sport utility wagons... Think Chrysler Pacifica with an Escalade front clip. The two wagons had the Cadillac emblems covered and were badged as SRX and SRX4. The three vehicles in front of them were definately sedans, but they had the car covers over them. All vehicles had Michigan manufacturer tags. I just thought I would share this with you...

Yeah what u saw was a fleet of cadillac prototypes. The two trucks were the new cadillac srx crossover suvs and the other sedans were the cts-v performance editions. They have 400 hp v8 with 6 speed sticks. Nice catch.

They also just unveiled a concept car at a car show. Its a V16 1000 hp, smoked glass roof, 22.3 feet long, clamshell style hood. They said it may reach regular production, in which it would be have a regulator on the 16 cylinders so its streetable.

They make hte most amazing engines

Very old news on the V16. Plus it displaces over 13 liters which is mindboggling.

On the original topic, I've seen the new SRX and I like it. Plus it's supposed to get about 25 miles per gallon on the highway because of it's gearing set up.

Its an all alluminum chasis and engine block, which does reduce the weight a lot. I was wrong on the length, its alittle over 18 feet long. I'll take that beast anyday.

I know... I needed a digicam I guess it would have been kinda hard to keep up and take pics. I was alone and they were cruising at about 75mph.
