have u ever been hit and run?

Well, two days ago, my car was parked backwards in the school parking lot. When i got home i noticed a big patch of scratch on my left front bumper. I don't know if the car got hit in the school or not. For sure, its not my fault. Someone probably parked into the space next to my car and scratched the front corner of the car. THe other car most likely has damage on it side. Damn, i hate those hit and runners. I'll find them and bust their .

yeah, ur right. Parents who pick up students from my school drive worse than the students. Probably an elderly person. If not, then a student. If i find out which student it is, this person would be in major trouble, not just for damaging my car but for a hit and run.

yeah, i had a hit and run... it was their fault cuz they thought i had to make a stop and the intersection so they rushed infront of me! needless to say the whole driverside of their car got messed up and they looked at me for a sec and floored it! lol to make a long story short, i followed them and caught them and the driver didnt have license or insurance. and he didnt even speak english and neither did any of the other 3 ppl inside the car! well, i didnt call the cops or he would go to jail, so i just made them cough up $1200 cash and we went on w/ our lives!

I hate that **** man. You know, at highschool, I am surrounded by a bunch of preppy rich kids who can care less about their own or daddy's cars. So the girls especially hit doors, crash, etc. This one time I was sitting in a spot, ready to get out, and this dumbass in his piece of **** 1990 Corvette, just turns into the spot in which I am in ( I have a really bright RED car) and hits me. Backs out, drives 4 spots down, gets out of his car and just walks toward the entrance. I said, what the F*&^ Bitch. He said, "Oh, I hit you". Yea, dumbass you did. "Sorry". I said, "sorry" is free, damage is not. I got $500 from that rich boy that day. Used it to buy N2O, never fixed scratch!

f*ckin hit and runs. i got outa work a few months back and, it being winter and all here in canada, some sorry excuse for a driver hit the side of my car just behind the rear wheel. i clearly saw the tread marks in the snow. it wouldn't of been that bad if it were just dented since they can plunge that sh*t out but there was a puncture. so i got it estimated and the guy told me i'd have to cough up $1,270!!!(cdn, you do the math) anyways, a friend of mine hooked it up with this guy he knew and i ended up getting it done for $700. the gov't.(in alberta) used to have something set up that dealt strictly with hit and runs but they scrapped it cause too many people took advantage of it. IMO they just cheaped out. well thats my story of how i got screwed out of two weeks pay.yay. now i got a bumper that i gotta replace. hopefully i can find one in a local scrap yard for cheap

My car got hit in a hit-and-run last September in the middle of the night. I found out about it when my roommate walked in carrying pieces of a car the next morning. The pieces turned out to be parts of the car that hit me (a Lincoln Town Car). The driver's side of my car was gouged and all scratched up and the rear view mirror was hanging by a couple wires. About $2500 in damages. If I ever see a Lincoln Town Car missing the parts (center cap for a wheel, and a metal piece of trim that fits over the front right bumper) that were left behind then I'm going to go nuts on that car!

Hit and runs suck big time!

I was in a hit in run when I was too young to drive. Happened nearl LA at 3am. Mom and I were coming back to our hotel across the street from Jack In The Box. She made a U-turn on her green turn light and this guy doing like 50+ miles per hour runs the red-light on the opposite side of the road. My mom hit the brakes and the car side-swiped the fender off our rental mini-van and did some damage to the passenger-side door and the front bumper. I was on the passenger side. Thinking about it kinda makes me realize I'm lucky to be alive as it could've been a LOT worse. The driver was probably drunk.

Yes, once in the sable (got the plates and filed a report and stuff, but it wasn't worth $400 to fix a cracked taillight... it was a '90 sable that needed tranny work...). Once in the Camry as well... parallel parked on the side of the street near my apartments and some stupidhead tried to fit between me and the car behind me (the "spot" was only about 3/4 of a car-length). Filed a report and was 20 mins late to class, but it was mostly dirt with a few scratches you can't even see now that i've washed the car.
Still always a pain in the *** and a real day-runier.

Last year my civic was hit in the parking lot of my school (UTA). Anyways the police station was right down the street. I went there to file a report. They said I couldn't file the report cause my car had been moved from where it was hit. So there for I couldn't get anything from my insurance for a hit and run, because I didn't have a police report. I was so pissed at the cop I was talking to.

I had a hit and run the same week I bent one of my rims. I was at this one bar and I parallel parked right up front. but parallel to where I parked was the normal parking. Its a tight fit, but you can get your car in and out of there. Someone was probably drunk and backed into my car (if you have a mental picture). I just waxed the ish out of it and used my dent puller. You can't really tell now unless you stand at a certain angle. Man was I pissed, but im sure their car is messed up worse than mine....at least thats what I tell myself. As far as me doing a hit and run. I accidentally backed into a club one night. Yes the actual building. I really didn't need to be driving but all I had to do is get my car across the street to where my brothers dorm was. I waxed that one out too.

I had some illegal aliens rear ended my old car (souped up CRX SI)
I was heading back to work and they tryed to jam on me.
I chased them down got beside them and foced them to park.
Then a a guy in a Dogde ram pulled up behind us and said I'm here to help if they run.
I checked the car and there was some small scraches nothing to say OH MY GOD over.
So I gave them the crazy white guy riot act and let them go.
****ers!

Some drunken fratboy idiot here on Ohio State campus musta backed into my front bumper while I was parked on campus one night, cuz' it got all scratched up. Luckily (kind of), about a month later, my car got pegged with about 30 dings from a massive hail storm. So when I went to get the estimates I played it off that a branch fell on my bumper during the storm. Call me dishonest, but look at the **** who needs a refesher course in parallel parking...not to mention, a swift kick in the teeth. bastards!

Yeup.. I got in a hit and run too, not too bad.. but the #*$#er hit my bumper and the side of my car. They left a rubber type material on my car.. and there's only 1 car in my apartment area that has a rubber black bumper. I can go talk to him.. but what can I say if he just denies it... nothing.. and WHAT IF he wasn't the one... DAMNIT! Yea.. totally know what you're going through... pisses me off.

yea, i went to a club here, and I parked in a garage. When I came back I pressed my alarm button, and the alarm gave me the "alarm has been triggered" beep. I thought," oh well, it's prob some guy with booming bass that set it off." WRONG! The next morning when I was going around my car to get in, I saw that one of the taillights was missing a big chunk of plastic. BASTARDS!!

....but that was my old car, my civic is still good
