pretty str8... they had a DIY on HorsePower TV, if u guys ever heard of it its on TBS superstation on the weekends, the same channel Super 2ner TV is on. i think all they used was a spark plug, some wires and a button. they used a hot rod for the DIY. first they drilled a hole on the tip of the muffler and stuck the spark plug into it. then they ran wires to the plug to the button to the power source. then u gotta set ur a/f ratio to rich and some other crap. when they were done it was really tight. it wasnt like the flames on that supra. it was nice hot n blue flames comin outta there. it was swwweeeeeetttttttt!!!! too badd they didnt do it to an import. yea they got a kit for this for sure cuz hot rodders be using them allll the time! oh yea they have some crazy DIY on that show. a few months ago they did a B18C1 transplant on a '92-95 civic EX. it looked pretty easy the way they were doin it. too bad they didnt show anymore upgrades on that civic.

Coo! I seen it on Trucks!... it's on the same station. It airs right after HorsePower TV. They said the kit shuts off the engine (okay, maybe not the engine, but it shuts off something) so that the fuel and air mixture would pass thru your engine and thru the exhaust. The spark plug at the end ignites the fuel passing thru. It only works on cars that have NO catalytic converter. Well, at least that's what they said.

how is shooting fire out your exhaust gay??? thats like the coolest thing ive ever seen. and someone said something about changing the order of spark plugs??? wtf??

btw, i was thinking about it, but no its not a missfire system i dont think. and ive seen in real life, i was pulling out of this toyota dealership last summer and this hot rod stopped at a stop light right in front of us and all of a sudden this big ****ing flame comes out the back, i **** myself. if anyone knows how to do the flame thing like the supra in the video is doing the please fill me in, i think i might try it lol

they have this kit out right now... what it has is an extra spark plug that you insert in the side of the exhaust.. i guess cars run rich enough to make that flame... for civics, i don't think it would be too big of a flame

Yeah, it's just something that creates a spark. The cars run rich enough to ignite. It won't work on a civic though. But they make kits now that shoot some sort of gas through the exhaust pipe with the flick of a switch, which at the same time makes the spark.

uhm...if you have to fake it youre a RICER!!!

the supra is running very rich...so theres still unburned gas in the exhaust...thats why its igniting. the hot exhaust with the gas is hitting air w/ oxygen and lighting up....plain and simple. he also most likely doesnt have a cat.

chances of your civic doing this = 0!!!
