Rep Power: 0 1. maybe it's not to you, but it's good enough for me, consider it was from a 3rd person, not from the driver himself (unlike most of the street encounters in this forum
2. if you look at that the 1/4 time, it's quite old, people do improve and his car did change since his mods from last year (such example is when i was able to beat my friend's 5spd jetta a year ago, now i cannot), supposely it has 260hp now and the car weight at least half of the supra, with 60hp less with awd? i believe it
3. if street racing doesn't really count, i guess maybe we should remove the street encounter forum too and raise a bs flag on everyone of s2000man's threads hmmm?

Rep Power: 0 all i can say, is that this should be LOCKED UP!!!!! whatever its a 13.8 second car and im not going to bash this car, there are tons of sweet cars out there and another thing is that we shouldn't be bashing our VIC's im sure if anyone of us did that much work to our cars we could be running those times, but first of all none of us can beat that car, and secondly, a sunfire can probably beat our cars, Its all show no go for the time being!!!!!!

there should be no bashing of this dudes car, its bad ***. Period.
However, im not going to belive that his car beat a TT Supra with any mods at all, the only explination is that the supr owner cant drive, since those thins run quicker than a 13.8 stock with a good driver. Nothing against your friend or anything, but supras with mods run 12s.

some of us have had 6 months to like 3 years to mod up our rides. mind you they're new and under warranty. he had 2 years alone for the swap. i am sure if our cars were 5 or 10 years older, there'd be lots of mods and turbo that get the results. and for alot cheaper.
i am not bashing his geo at all. it's a pretty slick sleeper in my opinion, but some of you comparing apples with oranges. it just doesn't go that way.

Rep Power: 0 that 13.8 was from a bit long ago, before he done even more to the car, the car is constantly changing and upgrading, he has done a lot of trial and error on the car, i believe the he runs faster than a 13.8 at the time when he raced the supra
plus, the race wasn't really up that far, his awd drive train and the fact that his car weights lot less would've probably contributed to let it start off faster. it also can be because of the supra driver didn't expect it :-p
what ar said does have a point, but it's difficult to find parts for his car, everything is customfab, i almost took up a impluse instead of wanting an mr2, but parts are so expensive because everything is custom, there was only about 1000 turbo impulse made, compare to a civic, it's a lot harder to locate parts, it doesn't even have an aftermarket support, he has multiple impulse and storms sitting home to eat off spare parts
