its new car time, again....
Since it's only May shouldn't there be some more V6 Altimas arriving? Won't the Civic be driveable after the tranny is replaced? It will probably be a one time thing with the tranny, but even if not, it's under warranty for 2 more years so you don't have to worry about it costing anything.
You shouldn't be putting yourself under so much pressure to buy another car. It sounds like the salesmen you are dealing with sense that you want to do things quickly and therefore are not haggling with you. Shop around, look at some other brands, buy a copy of Edmunds, and wait until some more of those Altimas come in.

Two door Accord. Definitely, more sporty and sleek. The difference in power is just 5 HP and I read somewhere the Accord is faster in 0-60-
The Altima is an very good car also, but once you compare the quality inside both cars you have to completely lean towards the Accord.
I dont know how you are going to adapt an mp3 stereo though, both car have funky shaped stereos that combine the AC controls

I would just keep the civic. You still have plenty of time to go before the warranty runs out.
As someone else said, it's most likely a one time issue.
I wouldn't expect much on the accord coupe. They are selling too well to get a great deal imo.
