$250/month... opinions needed

I got a promotion and I can afford to set $250/month aside for car related expenses.
Should I...

1. Keep the 01 for 8+ years and spend $24,000 (8 years) and get a new car?
2. Keep the 01 for 8+ years and get a K20A if the D17A2 dies? And have a little extra cash.
3. Keep the 01 for 8+ years and get a D17A2 and have LOTS of cash left over?

option 1, but by that new car now and finance it... maybe even lease it, that's what I am doing as soon as I pay off my 2k1 and get a roomate. I think an M3 will go well with my civic! you can never have too many cars in your fleet then you can make your civic your bitch car and rip it apart without worrying about losing your daily driver.

What is with this 8+ years thing....I don't know if I am understanding what you intend.

I'd take at least half of that disposable income and throw it in the bank each month for retirement. You know, you don't want to be working when your 80.

If it's just burning a hole in your pocket, I'd trade in the civic for a car that performs stock and pay a $100 extra a month. Put the other $150 towards retirement or something!

Dont be like I was when I was younger...put that new found money in the bank...>Save it. In the future when you got a nice amount saved...you will be able to buy the car you want....
