i test drove one yesterday...the steering is TIGHT. was going 80 mph, nad the steerig wheel had no vibrations at all..no hands...car kept on going straight. interior is NICE. STOCK XENON HIDs, LED gauge clauster..6 spd manual or 5 spd sport shift auto. with the lip kit, 17 sport alloys, spoiler, carbon charcoal gray paint, and fog lights..all i would want to do is drop it a few inches.

I think I would take it over the accord. I already had an accord 4 door and it was just a little too big. The civic is a wee bit small. Yeah, I would love to have one..thank you..

Sweet car, but extremely poor value, in my opinion.
I don't know why a 4cyl 200HP car costs more than a V6 240HP car (the Accord!).. you pay more, get less room, less power, less torque and less comfort... all for just more handling.
Also the TSX's cost is nipping at the 260HP CL/TL Type-S... which is in a completely different class.
Am I missing something here?
Acura claims the TSX competes directly with IS300 and BMW 325i... somebody forgot to tell these guys that the competitors offer V6 and rear wheel drive.
As sharp as it looks, I only see rice boys picking up this car to slam it and lug on 18's on it. I seriously doubt it'll be any threat to BMW's sales figures.

wrong. cl has been dropped out of the acura lineup due to decreasing sales. the tsx is a replacement for the integra 4-door, as many people complained about having no 4 door RSX. the integra four door failed as an entry level sports luxury car for the most part because compared to its competitors, it wasnt up to par (luxury-wise).
yes its only a 4-cyclinder engine...but compare it to last gen accords v6 (200 hp, 3.0 liter)...and you'll see how nice the TSX engine actually is. you got 2 less cyclinders, .6 less litre size, and the same HP.
the engine looks to be a K24 producing 200 HP, 166 ft/lns torque.

They still have CL here in Canada. I know TSX is a replacement for the 4-door Integra, but it also costs WAY more than 4-door Integras ever did. Here in Canada we have 1.7EL that is more of a 4-door Integra replacement that is more in the price range.
As for the K24 engine--why are you even comparing it to an old engine? As a consumer, you should be comparing it to the Accord V6, which is realistically what most people will consider.
Despite the improvements in the VTEC system to generate more torque, improvements have been made in the current V6 3.0L as well. It pumps 40 horsepower and 46 foot pounds torque MORE than the TSX.
But best of all, Accord V6 can use regular unleaded gas, while TSX requires premium. So there goes the 4-banger gas mileage advantage too. You can also expect less insurance premium for the Accord too.
I'm sorry, but TSX just sucks *** in the value department.

Different market, different consumer. Value isn't the issue.
People looking for a torque filled v6 aren't those looking for a high-strung 4-banger.
The accord is for the older folks. I know, I owned a top-of-the-line accord.
The tsx is marketed at the more well-to-do younger consumer who may like the rxw but wants a 4-door sedan.
No, no big wheels on an acura. That's not the consumer that buys their cars. pfffffff..

I would probably buy the V6 ACCORD over the Acura TSX....Because im at the age where I would want more space rather than more power. I have enough horse power, with my civic lol. I think the ACCORD has a better outside styling over the TSX....but I think the TSX has a nicer interior styling over the accord....Maybe I can mix and match the accord exterior with the TSX interior.
Accord Euro R
Guys the tsx is the same exact thing as the accord euro r. jUst go to the japanese honda website. too bad its probably a watered down version here in america. Oh well its still a cool car resembles too much of a mazda 6

I saw one this morning in blue on my way to work....This guy has a silver 2003 si with rims, drop and tint...and now he has a New TSX...You know the tails on the car remind me of the back of a 97-2000 Toyota camry.
