Im wondering where everyone goes to wash their car before the show.....Some people are driving long distance

Eh, so its $70 bucks to enter the show....what if i didn't enter the show and just paid the entrance fee...does that mean i get in but dont have to show my car?

correct, but we're trying to get as many 7th gens together in our car "club" so we can be in the same spot. If you're already going to go you might as well just sign up to be in the show, especially if you're bringing someone with you. You can still sign up and that way, you get to show up 2 hours early, and you don't have to worry about parking, you get to park inside the show.

Last year was the worst year for NOPI evAr! I went to Atlanta from Charleston, SC. I washed my car before the trip so that I would only have to do touchups when i got into town. When I arrived I talked with the hotel that I was staying at and they let me use their water hose. So I busted out my supplies and made my car beautiful again.

Then I woke up in the morning to get ready to go to the first day of the show and it rained that night!!! grrrr.....all my work ruined!!! So everyone who was in the hotel with me was getting their cars dried and ready to go AGAIN!!!

Then we arrive to the show and pull into Atlanta Motorspeedway. I pull up on the grass and it's so muddy! I had to clean the car AGAIN!!! As I'm finishing up the judges come to my car. I was totally unprepared. My row was the first line of cars that got judged. grrrrr.

Then that night it rained again! So this time I just waited until I got to the show to clean the car. I was so frustrated.

I hope the same doesn't happen this year.

There are like 2 car washes that everyone uses almost as soon as you get on hwy 19 &41. I think thats the name of it, anywho its the street that the motorspeedway is on.

I doubt I'll roll there with some folks from here, but i'll find them somewhere at the show. I'll probably drive over with some of my boys and have the cars packed out with girlies.

2k2civicRAY, are you going to roll with the 7thgen tour to NOPI. NC and SC 7thgens are meeting in Columbia then traveling together to Atlanta. Check the south forum for the stickied thread with all of the info.

someone clear this up for me, I can pay $35 to drive in nopi 2 hrs early and drive my car in.....then can i pay $35 when im THERE at the nopi nationals to enter the show?

Well, some people signed up for different areas. Most of the areas are filling up by now. The BROWN area where I am parked is ONLY for other Civics.

i'll be there....car in shop now...full buddy club kit, car is now house of kolor limetime pearl, alpine audio, custom sub enclosure, kaztkin leather, motegi wheels, goldline springs, aem sri, neuspeed strut bar, oem wing, projector headlights, hopefully i'll have the gunmetal fiberglass dash and tenzo r seats by nopi, but if not oh well...i'll just pain the dash and inside white w/ gunmetal trim.

Nope, you can just show up to Atlanta motorspeedway friday and register, then show your car the very next day.
