Urethane is strong. If just as strong as your stock bumper. Fiberglass is Cheaper, but it breaks easier. IF you where to pull into a parking spot and go to close hitting the curb, you would more than likely crack the bumper. Urethane bumpers are flexable and will not crack on bumps and run ins with curbs.

But if anything does happen, fiberglass is easier to fix, yet urethane can not be fixed. I would go with urethane. With all of the pot holes and how low I would have my car, Its better to be safe than sorry.

get urethane...fiberglass will crack/break, urethane will not, urethane is better but cost more. u save more money wit urethane in the long run cuz u dont have to bondo/repaint it over and over if it keep breakin

yea thats basically it.
Urethane is stronger than fiberglass, it bends and flexes when you bottom or or hit things. More expensive and can't be repaired
Fiberglass is cheaper, and cracks and breaks easily if you hit something. Its also very easy to fix

it's your call on what material you want your kit to be

the weight difference can't be that much. the urathane rear skirt for the xenon kit weighs very little for how big it is, i can't imagine how light a fiberglass skirt could be.

also, ak got the damaged xenon rear skirt from me and it looks like it's been repaired. what's up with that?

I think urathane is actually lighter. Think about it...sheets of fibreglass pressed together with a bonding resin....that is going to have to weigh more than a piece of plastic..........but anyways.......go with the urathane.
