Mazda 6s
I was just wondering, what do you guys think of the aftermarket support for this car? My sis is pregnant and am giving her the car. I might be replacing it with a Audi a4 1.8t
or The new Mazda 6s
. I know I can upgrade the turbo and chip the a4, but will it be possible to tune the 6. Should I get the 4 cylinder or the 6 cylinder cause I would like to turbo it. Do you guys think there will be a turbo kit from the major manufacturers(greddy, hks)? Thanks for the opinions and comments. Thanks guys. Definately go with the Audi...It was made for chipping, and you can get alot of HP out of those suckers! My friend's brother has one...he hooked his ride up like CRAZY!

Not to mention the TURBO! Whoo HOO!

I'd take the Mazda myself as it is a super sharp looking family sedan. I mean that car looks hot - for a family sedan. It needs mo power though.
I just hope mazda has gotten rid of the transmission issues.

"Mazda engines are new to the U.S. market, although the V-6 is adapted from Ford's 3.0-liter Duratec. Mazda's variable-length induction runners, variable intake-valve heads, roller-finger cam followers with hydraulic tappets, and magnesium valve covers make its version of this V-6 more flexible, more powerful, and quicker revving. It is NOT a ford engine."
And yes there are aftermarket support. In japan it is the Atenza which has been out for quite sometime in Japan.

NO kidding, the V6 is some kind of Ford duratec or whatever. I don't know about the 4 banger though.[hr]

ok thanx for all the replies, please keep them coming. I was considering a used audi a4. the new ones aren't exactly my favorite style wise. nooleboy, can u help me out with some links or info on the atenza. The engine in the 6 has enough part differences to be much improved over the ford crap in my opinion. Chenz: I want an s4 so baddddd but still on a budget. The a4 i saw is 22,000 the s4 they have on the lot is 32,000. Big difference.
