My dad leases a Acura TL and has GEICO. He put me on his insurance for 100 a month full coverage. When we lease the civic he put it as his commuter car and it was an additional $100.. so its $2400 a year for full coverage and I'm 17.
License @ 16 years old eh? I got my license her in NJ when I was 17, which was the final year before the Gov up'ed the limit to 18 years old. I thought I was lucky.
I only had a stinky permit at 16 years old. Anyways. At 17 years, I had $2000 per year insurance (Progressive at the time). Take into account, that I was minor, drove a red car, and live in NJ. A 2-door car colored Red is considered a sports car in the auto insurance world (in new jersey), so I gotta pay sports car insurance for a car that is only well-over 100 ponies. (go figure

Damn
If I had to pay 2000-2400 dollars a year for insurance I wouldnt drive. I have never paid more than 1000 a year for my old car, or my Civic. You gotta work the system.

My insurance sucks. I pay $115 a month, for collsion comprehensive $500, liability, roadside assistance that I don't even need, and passenger protection. It's about to go up to $150/month cause I'm not a 'good student' anymore. I'm a girl and I'm under the 'rents insurance.

Man your all insurance sucks! Im 21 drivin a 2001 Black civic Ex. Insurance is $124.32 every three months for liability insurance. This has the passenger protection thing up to 50k. Full coverage is like 420.00 every six. That's with Kentucky Farm Bureau, in Ky of course. hehe.
I'm from Michigan. I think it's around $2400 (AAA Insurance) a year for me, and I'm 17. That's no tickets and even a discount from some "good grades" deal that AAA puts out. That's actually gone down since last year, when it was closer to $3000.
