Yeah that neon is pretty cool, but there is no way they are going to handle abuse for a long time. Dodge just isn't good at building stuff to last for a long time and take a beating. I would maybe lease one, but never ever own one unless one fell into my posession free of charge. I agree....it's still a neon

Some peope need to realize that everyone has their own opinion and just because it doesn't agree with some else's, it doesn't make it wrong, nor ignorant.
The view a lot of people have about neons is a testament to Dodge's perception problem among young people.
If someone doesn't like the neon and wouldn't drive one regardless of it's performance, does that make them ignorant? No, it's called preference, perception, and tastes for those of you that really are ignorant.

in fact, dodge did all they could to try and get some prototype SRT4's into fast and furious 2. the producers wouldnt' have it cuz they said, and I quote, "we just can't see putting a neon into a movie that already has EVOs and Skylines". so a movie even as tacky and ricey as fast and furious wouldn't touch the neon. what's that say about the general public's view of them.
