Grrrrr I pay a lot more than that a month. Granted I have an EX but still. I could live without the 12 extra horses to save that much money

If anyone got ripped off, it's MagicRcing18's best friend. It all depends on why he LEASED the car instead of financing it. Leased means the car is only yours for a few years. So for most of us who like to change our cars, leasing is not the way to go. That is unless you take everything back off and hope the parts fit the next car you lease.
Leasing vs. Financing

Yeah I finance mine and I will be paying it off for quite a while but looking to sell it in the next year or so and get a older beater since I am going to be moving to crappier areas. But yeah never have leased a car but I have heard a few bad stories from people. But yeah watch that mileage

i had a hook up at the dealership, i pay $326 a month for the next 5 years, with an extra 2 year warrenty (which makes 7 years total), which may no sound to cool but considering i bought it when i had only been working for about a little over a year and half and had no preveious credit, plus i can afford it fairly easy so its not a big deal to me. there was no way i was gonna lease, i cant buy a car and not modify it, it just feels wrong.

You guys need to learn how to haggle. 0 down 250 m for 5years. Having a good salesman also helps. After hunting around it turned out that the car dealer who wanted more gave me a better deal on the loan.

Lets say dealer A is selling a car $12,000 for dealer B is selling the same car for $13,000. Dealer A is d**k wont bug on the price and wants to sell the car with 10% interest while dealer B wont get off the price also but is willing to work with you no the interest. You'll end up paying more on off the top but save $$$ on final total amount paid.

Isn't there a difference in ABS, alloys, painted mirrors, and 6 speakers too? And in Canada (where I got mine), the EX comes with heated side mirrors.

I just got a used 2001 LX coupe, 14,200 miles, paid $11,500. And what is all this stuff about leases, payments, etc? The car dealers/auto finance people love you guys. Thats a good deal. Mine was 11k, but it was truly immaculate. Also, it was bought NEW in early 2k2, so the warranty goes until early 05 (a nice plus).

Man, everything is cheaper in TX! Dealers here actually have the gaul to ask 1000 over MSRP on Civics

I'm originally from TX, so I've seen quite a bit of sticker shock since I moved up here. Of course, I've only bought 1 new car here that I bought locally. The rest I've bought out of state That will show those stealers...

I wanted a car I can drive with zero effort for the next few years, and the Civic is a no-brainer to drive -- just step on the gas and go

I've had it for 6 weeks now and only had to floor it twice... 115hp works for me!
