New Maxima - quick but ugly.
All models are supplied with Nissan's ubiquitous 3.5-litre DOHC V6, now up to 265 horsepower
and 255 lb.-ft torque in the Maxima.

no one usually likes change. I'll agree I don't like it RIGHT NOW, but the first one I see with some rims and some tint..............I'll probably change my mind. Alot of people will probably change their minds
I spent 1425 points to do this.

yeah really- the front grill looks pretty damn american to me. i thought the front end looked nasty, then i scrolled down and saw the rear side pics !! it looks like someone stepped on the trunk. i could go on for hours on this one! look at the lower grill with the connect the dot foggies
i hope automobile head light styling starts moving toward a more horizontal look again, i mean- i love the prelude lights- but bmw ones look real nice too- none of this bug-eyed stuff!!
looks almost like a hatchback from that front pic

Thanx for the link!
Grow on you? For me, that's a Pontiac-Aztek-never-grow-on-me ugly. Let me count the ways...
Front: Plastiky (sic) grill. Fog lights that don't match bottom grill. Weird two slits on hood that don't match anything.
Side: Nobody ever agreed with me on this, but c'mon, doesn't that really look like a Saturn Ion?

Rear: what's up w/ Nissan and these ugly trunks on sedans? The sentra has it, altima has it, and now the maxima has it. Bad. Its so deformed and funky, makes the 7 series rear look conservative.
Interior: One word: cheap.

Nissan execs must have some good drugs to think that thing looks good. I can understand trying to standardize all of the cars' designs to look similar, but they could've taken the design from something that wasn't ugly.
yea and it looks exactly like the altima. i dont nissan selling many new maximas because people will just opt for the same amount of power and style with the altima. doesnt make much sense to me. plus the market the maxima is in is so crowded now. all of it competitors look better.
I sure wish my car was newer

It looks like they're trying to make the Maxima market feel young again by stealing the stying of the Z. On a Z, it works. However, just like with anything cool, someone capitalizes on it and then it get bastardized and ends up sucking.

Ewww. Nissan is going into overkill with the Z style. Just because people like the Z doesn't mean that they want a Z SUV or a Z sedan. All this ugly modified Zs are making the Z uglier in my eyes.
