haha 3rd to 2nd, whoopsee daisy. Thank god ive never messed up a shift like that. Closest ive gotten is letting the clutch out a bit to early and feeling it grind a bit.... That scared the hell outta me, i would **** my pants if i over-revved my engine like he did.

Well i didn't do it that bad but yeah...it was late and i was tired. I shifted from 3rd to 2nd and i almost wet my pants. If I were driving an rsx that that guy was, I would be saying a LOT more than "O ****"

About $1,500 to fix at Acura. he had just gotten his car back from the body shop too.
Pretty much anything that is not good for your tranny or is bad in a performance standard when racing. A bad downshift as shown above, letting the clutch out too early and grinding gears, shifting from 1st to 4th or 2nd to 5th when racing... those kinda things can constitute a mis-shift.

<---- even more rookie (don't even drive a manual). What exactly happens in a mis-shift? You shift to a lower gear from a higher one?[hr]

All of you who are ******* that guy for misshifting - I'm going to LMAO at you the first time you drive a 6-speed and then try to do a 6th to 4th downshift and accidentally pop it into 2nd.
I've been driving stick for years, and the first time I drove a 6spd tranny, I tried to do a 6 -> 4 downshift and accidentally popped it into 2nd. The revs shot way up, but I disengaged the clutch before any damage was done.
The gates on the RSX-S 6spd tranny are VERY close, and it is a lot easier to misshift than you think.
