Tint removal...
My younger brother has had his stripped twice. From my knowledge, it doesn't cost much. He voluntarily stripped his btw... For $160, he had his 20% tint stripped and 5% put in. He has a sedan...

If you are real lucky, you can pull the tint from a corner and the glue will come off with it. You have to pull VERY slowly and have the Almightly looking over you.
Otherwise, pull it off and break out the razor blades. I had a couple windows come off cleanly when I did my accord several yrs ago. The other windows, I soaked a rag in gasoline and ran it over the window and then proceeded to scrape the goo off.
I didn't do the back window for fear of messing up the defrost. It had faded so it didn't need to come off. I was stripping the tint because I got 2 tickets for no inspection. I couldn't get an inspection because my 2 small rear windows (coupe) were too dark.
It's not hard to do and I usually prefer to save the money and do most things myself. It's your call.

If you want to save 80-100 bucks do it yourself. I did mine on my old hatchback. Peal it off with a razor. Any glue left take water or windex spray, wait some secs and scrape it off with the razor. You way want to use some force. The glue on the windows made my hads heart by saved some $$$
at autozone type stores in the tint aisle, there is a spray especially for tint removal, I used it and removed the tint without leaving too much glue crap on the window, its just hard to get the corners. You spray it on, then put a trashbag or something on the window and let it sit, then it should peel off fairly easily.

Be careful for the back window because you will rip the defroster apart. My friend did it on his car and unfortunately I bought his car and low and behold no rear defroster.
I just got mine tinted, and they told me not to use any ammonia-based cleaners to wash my windows or else the tinting would be damaged. I believe (I'm not a chem major, so bear with me) that the ammonia is a solvent and it interacts with the glue holding on the tint.
So using this knowledge, use a cleaner that DOES contain ammonia in order to make the tint break down easier.
IMO though, I think the best bet would be to go through a tint shop and have them remove it. Yes it will cost money, but it will look good, and save you time and frustration and possible damage to your window.

Seriously...If you don't have experience with tint, just have a shop do it.
If you did have experience, then you would know that you should 'bag it' (at least the rear w/defroster)
BTW...Ammonia takes a long time to break down tint since it only effects the 'glue' which is on the other side of the film that your spraying it on. It will effect it faster if there were cuts or nics in it though
