I like it, but what kind of engine is that? Where does it come from? Sorry, I don't know all of the engine codes yet

That engine is from a turbo eclipse, talon , or laser. Thats amazing IM still shocked. I have to steal that car since I wanted to get a Eclipse GSX and my dad got me a civic. With that car I can have the best of both worlds

#1 Mugen is the factory performance parts company for honda. DSM is the company that made the eclipses. RalliArt is the Mitsubishi factory performance parts company.
#2 There is a FWD transmission for the 4G63. There are plenty of GS-T and TSi models out there, which are FWD. That's as opposed to an AWD GSX or TSi AWD.
I totally believe they did that swap.

Yes, neonmike is correct. DSM - Diamond Star Motors. Since from 88-99 All turbo eclipses, and up to 97 all Talon TSI's and TSI AWD had that engine. What I'm amazed at is that the 4G63 is a 2.0L DOHC. That engine was stroked up .4L. Which is cool, the usual stoking methods done to DSM's bumps them up to 2.2. They made a 2.4L engine before but it only went in their 96-99 Non-turbo convertibles, it was to make up for the added weight. Hopfully that cleared a few things up. That car is probably FWD because the AWD trannies take up a lot of space and the would have had to relocate a bunch of things to get it to work. It'd be cool if they did it though.

The second gen eciples turbo motor is strong when built up. To bad they have that problem with crank walk. From what I've heard crank walk will even happen to a freshly rebuilt motor.
