Rep Power: 0 Dad's vette wrecked by a souped up Honda, heh
What's up, just got word from my dad that his Vette is wrecked. He was going around this bend on the way to the store, and this souped up Prelude is going much too fast around the bend, popped the median and lost control of his car and hit the front end of my dad's Vette. The whole front end needs to be replaced, the rims are bent and all. I'm guessing at least 5k in damanges, front rims are $1,000 alone... If you're going to do a fly-by, grow some brains, the only thing people are impressed by is the level of stupidity you displayed.

Rep Power: 0 My 93 civic had minor front end damage when we were hit and that still ran the bill up to about 2500. Hood bent, bumper out of place, no frame damage.
Glad to hear your dad is okay

Rep Power: 0 I am aware that I also drive that car... I'm not bitter about him losing the Vette. Honestly, Vettes are fun and all but it gets old. Too many older guys obsess over it. It's not fun anymore.
I'm just tired of ignorant drivers. Whether or no they drive an import. Several kids here have been killed over it. If you think about it, people live like 70-80 years, things that are important, such as getting married, grandkids, etc. All of that is gone because of some dude wanted to show off his car. That is how I think of it. It's just a waste of time. I'm just mad over the whole import scene and its bad rap. One bad apple theory you know. It's still fun as long as it doesn't take out innocent people..

Rep Power: 0 The original post is geared out how his daddy's vette is wrecked. He never said anything about his dad getting hurt. The vette was the subject has he itemized the repair bill. So don't give people crap about how his dad could have been hurt. His post obviously shows that the car was the most important thing.
Lastly, the guy wasn't doing a flyby. He was taking a turn thinking he was an indy car driver. That's something that vette owners never do.

Rep Power: 0 Civics are cheaper than Corvettes, have less horsepower yet they have more fun. I wonder why Vette owners don't do anything? Too much money? The Vette is not more important than my dad. That's just crazy. I thought about buying a Corvette before I bought the Civic. I just don't want to pay for frequent repairs, $30 to fill up the tank, $75 oil changes, etc etc. I can modify the Civic to my heart's content and still come out with great MPG.
Why should I have to post about my dad getting hurt? Are car wrecks just naturally funny?

after thinking about it and analysing it, i think of this
all u stated in ur 1st post is "its all about the vette" information. you also got the whole fly-by thing wrong.
now i think of you like this...
stop ur b'ish!
i feel nothing for you....
but i'm glad ur dad is ok.
but once again...

all following posts: smack talk, crap, hope your dads ok, and a lot of f**k yous.
does that about sum it up for you?
people need to grow up.
A. I'm glad your dad is ok.
B. Anyone who swerves at someone because someone is doing a "fly by" on them is a stupid move. Swerving at them is going to cause an accident, and then the death will be on your head, rather than the person doing the fly by.
C. clean up following posts. attack the topic at hand, and not the person. flaming gets us nowhere.

I'm done with this post. This whole website has been nothing but a big flame war since I joined. I should just ignore the postings and use the parts section instead.
